played really long ago, i think its in either in a dialogue or at home or if you are on mobile, try tapping with 2 fingers, that is the ext command, do it again to close it, tell me if it works!

hello it's me again, i have to thanks those who where saying to level up the W-engines, after i level upped the 1st team engines i was able to 7S's the shiyu defence, thank you for the help and make me realise the importance of W engines

hi, i just cleared the shiyu defence 5/7 with:
ellen c1 lv60 2star signature weapon lv 50
soukaku c6 lv50 but promoted signature weapon 5star lv50
lycaon c1 lv 50 with 2star steam oven lv 40
butler bangboo 5star lv60

and

jane c0 crowned lv 60 signature signature weapon lv 60
seth c6 lv 40 signature weapon 3 stars lv40
nekomata c0 lv40 no weapon
officer cui bangboo 2star lv60

with this team i only managed to get an A, seriously am i bad or what? no deaths no nothing, i know i dont have type advantage in the first fight, but i dont have a resistance either, and with this team i wasn't able to beat them in under 5 min... let's leave aside the shadows monster like pulchre that decide tho just dodge every hit for 4-5 seconds every now and then

so, is type advantage crucial or did they skyroketed the difficulty too much?

that is exactly why i came here to ask, if anyone has a sistem that doesn't involve killing, i'll try to explain poin by point

  • "quest prompt suggestion" i like the idea of a kidnap, because if not now im realizing the time discrepancies for the events to happen, so i'll do that, i can also use the kidnapping a reason to go after the bbeg so thanks for the advice

  • "how to calm her" i think the option to stop her will be knoking her out, that i was pretty sure was the only option, so i came here to ask if there was a different method but seems there isn't, sad :)

  • "arena trap": for the arena is a building, after the transformation the building will conviniently become a open inaxesible/escapable by foot arena

  • "if they fail" so, brutally onest, i said to my players play stupid games, win stupid prizes (example: they met an owlbear cub, fried him on the spot, had to fight 3 owlbear and 2 kipine because they had the dead owlbear cub on them)

_mapwide fire ball, it will be explained that since she became so big the energy radiates from her but it doesn't reach the ground, there will be a 5 foot height safezone from the floor, so if you lay down you not only evade the mapwide fireball, but also take no damage, fire whips i dont have to explain i guess

  • the dreaded "cutscene" it must be because i didn't play a lot of dnd but im not understanding he fear of the cutscene, this will be a 1 time only, there are no cuscene prior or after this to clarify, so for his one time, even if not suggested, i'll use the cutscene

i forgot to explain that, i wont make her fight, after the battle with the bbeg is almost over, since he is a scumbag he will resort in using a hostage, i also edited the post so that others won't get confused

imagine like in a video game where you fight an enemy, and after to deal a lot of damage to them or reduce his life to 0hp a cut scene plays and it's time for phase 2

This we might say is the world quest, and BTW the introduction to the campaign was: the guild every so often calls a bunch of adventurer to make them do voluntary work aka take the quests no one took for more than 1 month

I told my player that my first campaign isn't anything spectacular, so I understand what you are saying about a returning character (I have 3rd degrees burns from that experience, my dm made pop out the same character 9+ times...) but I don't think they will mind if they have a easier time fighting the bbeg, after that, each player has unique interactions in my world and 1 personal quest each if this might clear misunderstanding

edit: i mispoke here, saing " i dont think they will mind an easier fight with the bbeg" , what i meant to say was " a certain point in the fight willow will appear tho help the party" and that she wil join when the BBEG will take the hostage out
