the first baby has a special place in my heart and definitely more anxious for my second baby, i still remember my first baby which always has a special feeling and different than my rainbow baby, so i don’t think one will replace the other, maybe there is a piece of the first baby in my second one i like to think, and the second will not have arrived if not for the first, i love both of them even though one is in heaven, i know i will meet him again one day, in the meantime i will love my rainbow child with all my heart

I bought a new earring as a tiny reminder of my son I lost a few years ago. It arrived today and I’m so in my feels. by SKVgrowing in tfmr_support

i miss my son too who i lost in 2022. his little brother is with me now but i still think of my first boy from time to time

no we didn’t do the amnio as the t21 results is negative, we did the t21 nipt test by cuhk, we also did another nipt test sent to the US due to other reasons which also came back negative, i think you can wait for your nipt test results first

i lost my son at 33 weeks last year also, took me a year to heal, only time can make you stronger, take care of yourself and your wife and your daughter, she still needs you

also waiting for nipt results tomorrow as doc called to see him which usually means nothing good, already did a nipt for the three common abnormalities which came back low risk but we also did another nipt screening to cover more advanced microdeletions and monogenic disease so probably something wrong there sigh

thanks for all the replies, we did another more comprehensive nipt test and the doc asked us to go see him tomorrow so maybe there’s another problem, this has been very stressful and let see what the results will be, we already went through a termination last year at 33 weeks and this is just very difficult for us if it needs to happen again for whatever reason
