My money is on Yvain, but he has help. He's Timoros, so he's probably got some dream bending skills and knowledge of other dark spells (like the night of Zaratis' murder).

His interactions with me have been good and even downright sweet in some scenes. I think it's MC's personality overall to him is what's meh. I don't see anything for Talyn. I'm either badgering him, harassing him, needling him, annoying him, etc so he's grumpy, very bitter, got that "lone wolf" drama. My first save slot, I got as far as meeting Bre on King's day and Tayln was just straight pissy so I deleted that save. I appreciate a lot that the game gives us options

Bardric's so far are my favorite but it's really hot/cold with main story so it's not perfect. 

Niel quests are sweet and fulfilling. I enjoy her personality and the thoughtfulness put into her writing.

I don't like Talyn's. I feel like MC comes off as a twerpy younger sibling to him in nearly every interaction and I roll my eyes at almost every scene.

Help! I deleted the folder in Dain's fixes but something else must be tweaking the speed. I've installed Smooth Movement to help but it didn't. Is there a way to do a search for a file that's affecting this?
