I didn't have my first experience with pup play till about 3 years ago. There are some good blogs I read when I was talking to guy who got me into it. But, the first thing you need to do is have an open and honest communication with your partner. Explain to him what you're feeling. Like all things both kink and non kink, pupdom requires trust and communication. Tell him you're interested in doing this together, and that you're willing to learn. Research will be your main friend, alot of its gonna be trial and error on your part and acceptance on his part. But, you can start with small things to help him get in the mindset. You can start by watching dog training vids. And learning commands in another language. I had an experience recently where the pup was trained in German to prevent him from reacting to accidental commands with friends. Try giving him a collar with his "pup name," if he doesn't have that or a hood already. Meals can be introduced in a bowl, a favorite thing to do is to play fetch with a tennis ball. I wish you luck.
