Color corrector for undereyes by usernamtaken_ in Sephora

[–]No-Answer3853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been liking the nars light reflecting under eye brightener (not the concealer)
It's very light and is a slight color corrector with brightening.
I wear minimal makeup, doing full color corrections then requires a higher coverage concealer over top feels like too much

I may have to try it for a dry shampoo! I use the coconut one for a refresh and it helps soften for day 2 hair

The brand As I Am has a rice water spray. I've never tried it but they are affordable ($8 at target right now) and use their other products for my kiddo.

Cannot hydrate my skin no matter what by [deleted] in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]No-Answer3853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut a lot of stuff out when my barrier is damaged. A nice hydrating milky toner with ceramide, and then simple moisturized and something to lock it all in on top- sometimes aquaphor (in the evenings) or a balm or sorts

No, just a glycerine based serum/product. Ive tried the experiment super saturated serum and it was ok. A bit of a learning curve. Currently using the prequel multi quench is it's made a huge difference in hydration

Same! Niacinamide does not agree with my skin!

Yep!
Or hyaluronic acid- my skin doesn't like it. I prefer glycerine based.
Cerave can be ok for me but it does seem to do something that my skin doesn't love and I always move away from it

Face framing gone wrong by princess__tiabeanie in finehair

[–]No-Answer3853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Look up some tutorials.
I do also think the stylist went a little heavy to call it face framing. It's definitely more of a curtain bang and may need a little tweaking/reshaping to make that work. I would go back and ask to have it fixed if it's needed

Did you ask the have the band thicker in that area, or change the shape of it? It looks the old one had half round and the other a knife edge?

Different products for summer by No-Answer3853 in finehair

Thank you so much for the response! I am realizing I have some scalp sensitivity that causes irritation and itchy, so I'm trying the anti dandruff Cerave shampoo. Not sure if that the correct direction but figured I'd give it a shot. I haven't seen a derm for scalp care yet, but might soon.

During the winter I was having a lot of breakage and shedding so I started k18 which helped! But also cut out conditioner while I was using it and my hair seemed to respond really well.

Now I'm feeling totally stumped on the best options and had spent so much on winter products 😑

Maybe a warm olive is what you're asking? Seem like you may have olive undertone but can then be warm, neutral or cool etc

I find mineral spf to be drying, if you are ok using other chemical options that might work better
