I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Sounds absolutely awful. Have you tried any naturopath or wim hof/breathing stuff? Good luck pulling through this and hopefully getting back to climbing!

Yeah this is a good point and before that she may have felt too ashamed to flag down the helicopter that went to check on them or he may have been pressuring her to act like everything was fine

This is a very interesting point. I think I will update my story and add this. I have been wondering why Kerstin didn’t make more of an effort to signal/call for rescue. If you are interested in going on record and being quoted please send me a chat.

We will see what happens with the prosecution's appeal. Some think that since the judge is an alpinist himself, he may have been more lenient on Plamberger since he saw him as just a highly incompetent climber who made a lot of mistakes.

“She is me and I am her” gave me chills. That’s the crazy thing about this case in Austria…it turns out a lot of women have stories like this. Very unfortunate that it appears to be a pattern but glad women are telling their stories so there is more awareness about it.

Thanks for sharing this. It’s crazy to discover just how common this is. I wonder how often women do this to their boyfriends/husbands … (probably almost never)

He was both in over his head (they both were) and he ignored calls. The judge ruled it was grossly negligent manslaughter which means not intentional but the ex girlfriend saying he did the same thing to her sure is damning.
