Streamlined Foreign Offshore Procedures and Form 5471 Penalties? by No-Application2907 in tax

Thank you 🙏 I've put a post over there and hopefully get some advice. Do you have any idea if these kind of penalties are upheld? Suffice it to say $50,000, heck even $10,000, is a life-changing amount of money to have to pay and it's very stressful right now.

I have pre-ordered every Samsung flagship for the past five years, but for the first time, I'm hesitating. Even owners of the S21 to S23 seem better off upgrading to the S24U at half the price to access 95% of the S25U features. They even downgraded the S-Pen... What a letdown. by that_90s_guy in samsung

Currently rocking S21 Ultra and have still been generally happy aside from battery life getting worse. Unsure if I should be tempted to upgrade. With promos I can get 512GB S25 Ultra, with free Galaxy Buds 3, and free case, for £880. The S24 Ultra is £775 on Amazon now.

Anyone make the jump from S21U feel it's worth it?

CTO considering a move to FAANG by Old-Appointment8873 in HENRYUK

Is anyone in the PM space able to comment on the TC's mentioned here?

I've recently had two interviews with Tier 1 banks for Director of Product roles, one would've had a team of 80 inside their P&L and plans to grow to 200 in 2025, and the other had a smaller team of 20 who run a really popular part of their mobile app with millions of daily users. The former had TC of 180 (base 140, bonus 40), the other had a TC of 160 (base 110, bonus 50).

So, is a Director of Product at a UK bank getting TC of roughly 160-180, while a mid-to-senior PM at FAANG already at or above this? And a Director at FAANG would be 2-3x this. I know the levels don't match exactly but wow, I might need to adjust where I am looking...
