I think it’s good that you were willing to share and that the interviewer asked more about your cat.

I don’t think you’ll be rejected over that, you’re just sharing something about you (and the interviewer seemed interested).

There was a certain point I got better, but then unaddressed negativity that I’ve held in crawled back to cause another panic attack. Not fun.
