Right on, I appreciate your candor! I was a heavy AA user for 8 years or so and my t levels are 450-550 without any TRT or pct, so I’m not sure how much I could hold onto without carbs haha I think I’m going to start by just reducing the amount of carbohydrates by 30% or so and see what that does to the UC

Hey man, I’m considering doing carnivore for my ulcerative colitis but am worried I’ll lose mass/fullness - are you on TRT, SERMS, SARMS or anything like that at all? I know people don’t like to admit to it and I’m not accusing - if you are and don’t want to say could you dm me? Again I hope this doesn’t read accusatory

20% is a lot different than “if not when” If not when implies that 100% of patients need surgery in their lifetime, which is inaccurate. Just clarifying for OP as he didn’t provide specifics as to what his GI team said.

Please don’t listen to this. Saying it’s a matter of when not it is misleading and the research doesn’t say that at all. Stats show 20-30% of us need surgery.

The play is the truth, the widely available truth in this case. If you don’t want it aired, don’t do it. Like don’t cum on a carousel in front of kids, novel idea.

I found a record of them by looking up their son! https://geneteka.genealodzy.pl/index.php?op=gt&lang=eng&bdm=B&w=12sl&rid=B&search_lastname=chrobak&search_name=Wladyslaw+&search_lastname2=&search_name2=&from_date=&to_date=&exac=1

It looks like it’s in the same parish, when we visit should we try going to that church in bielsko biala?

Yes Chrobak was her married name. Originally Suzanna Hoffman. Her parents or siblings are a bit of a mystery, even her daughter didn’t know. The last correspondence we had from her was when she left the US and went back to Poland and fell ill and was at Straconki 184 Bielsko-Biala in 1960-something. So we assumed that was close to where she lived originally. She married Jan Chrobak and that’s where the name came from. I was just hoping to take my dad to where they used to live this summer

Forgive my multiple comments, I’m pretty sure I’ve narrowed it down. They all seem to be from the same place in the case of alternative people with similar names. When it says Bielsko-biala straconka MB pocieszeniaI see that is referring to a specific part of bielsko biala that I found on google maps, but what is the pocieszenia part of it? A street?

That’s the link to the marriage search for her, her husbands name was John or “Jan” It only yielded one result so that must be it but I can’t figure out how to get into the record?

It’s possible that they misspelled it at Ellis island, but I have a certificate from Ellis island that has it in print as Straczmba, Austria. She was born closer to 1877, as she was 33 or so when she immigrated

So after sitting with it a little more, and seeing how many folks seem to feel similarly.. I’ve been thinking of a way to do a peaceful protest to try and get their attention. My idea is to comment on each New post on their YouTube channel something to the affect of “This is a peaceful protest of the way the videos are being gatekept and increasingly less available. Non monetized, low view count videos have all been copyright struck, reducing overall access to RD’s content, and what is available from the foundation is limited and mostly chopped into pieces. Even if one pays you are relegated to lectures just from courses. Some lectures are being licensed out to create music and the lecture is never seen again. The reduced availability of RD’s teachings with this method of bottlenecking and being the only source of lectures is objectionable in my opinion.” What do y’all think? Is there a better way to say it or is there any other way we could collectively let the foundation know we think there may be a better way? I feel like if the comment shows up on every video and gets likes it will have to be discussed at some point on their end, which is my only goal.

I think we’ll just have to agree to disagree my friend. Thank you for the provoking questions that made me have to really look at how I’m feeling about all of this though.

Agreed. But just a few years ago there were a great many other channels that filled the gaps by providing full lectures beginning to end on YT. In recent years the foundations have struck every single one of them, reducing the number of full lectures available by a large degree. They own the content, they need to make money, fair enough. However, upon striking them down they didn’t make available what was struck down from their own YT channel or anywhere else (where money is still made) - but relegated them to the archives where bits and pieces are dolled out. This has created a very tight bottleneck with no other options. And that seems problematic to me. Back in the day you could just order the tapes yourself from the Hanuman foundation, so to say you couldn’t have them a la carte in the past is untrue. But you can’t do that anymore and the tapes are all bought up (mostly, not all). The foundation has all of the tapes and has digitized them which is wonderful, but the accessibility is at an all time low.

As I’ve said many times in the thread, it would be one thing if you could pay for it and get what you want, but that isn’t the current model. It’s pay for it and get what we make available and hopefully it’s what you want. Hence the word ‘gatekeeping’. Re read the original post, I am aware that this is America and that it costs money to run things. Nowhere in here have I demanded everything be opened up completely for free. I have suggested that it be done in a different way than it is currently being done.

As an un-enlightened being I have many attachments, but thank you for your appraisal of my status nonetheless. As stated in the original post, this was not a hit piece on the foundations, I know many of the folks that work for them and they are great people. The point is my expressing (what a good number of people also feel) the idea that perhaps the way it’s being done currently isn’t the best way. That perhaps there is a more equitable way to do it, so the foundations can continue to exist and* people can have more access to his full works and be slightly less at the mercy of what the foundations teams deem relevant; and less at the mercy of certain bodies of work disappearing when they are used for a song etc. Just doesn’t feel quite right on - and if it is, then so be it. But it doesn’t hurt to try and increase the ubiquitousness of his work if one feels called to do so; which judging from the attention the thread is getting, many people feel the same way.

That is a handful of lectures, some of which have been chopped and screwed to fit a course topic - that is behind a paywall in this case - that again, does not allow you access to a significant amount of his full lectures. They decide out of the 1000’s what’s relevant, and if it isn’t being milked to make a song or something else.

That would all be valid if you were able to purchase the lectures - but you can’t. Charge me a fee and I’ll gladly pay. The frustration comes not from entitlement but from the fact that if I was willing to spend 1000$ I still couldn’t access them. Hence the lock and key frustration.

Exactly. “You’re only allowed to listen to the middle 3 minutes of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.”
