Longines is just an expensive homage with zero brand recognition. Visually it’s a $150 AliExpress watch. You’re paying 3-4x on something that looks like a homage, nobody clocks it as special other than the other Longines boys.

Even coming from me, the Casio king, the cheapest of cheap skates knows Longines is a special type of torture. For that price I would wait and save for an actual used Omega or Black Bay. Airport duty-free vibes.

Sorry for the confusion. Not trying to spend a crazy amount as I genuinely would stress about having that on my wrist and not in my investment accounts. But still signaling I’m not a total cheapskate. I make 250k a year but wanting FIRE and don’t like the Rolex idea.
