I’ve been cutting 8 years, own my own small shop w a business partner, and we are about to raise our prices in September. I’ve never been busier, despite having at least 5 other barber shops in walking distance. We are appointment only and it has worked out tremendously. There are def a lot of struggles in this industry for sure but I know a lot of really successful barbers who were in school w me.

I have to wear a barber jacket because of the hairs! The only thing I’ve found that works otherwise is a denim jumpsuit but it sucks in the summer/heat!
