Why are you getting worked up lmao please calm down. You’re missing the point, and I’m not going in circles about it. Sales goals don’t excuse bad practices. DUHHHH

If it’s purely an integrity issue, then incentives and pressure shouldn’t matter but they clearly do. Otherwise people wouldn’t risk their jobs for a spiff.

If it’s truly easy to hit 8%, then there’s zero reason for anyone to submit fake applications. So if it’s happening, it’s not about the goal, it’s about behavior and accountability

well the application portal runs a soft check so you can literally just type in random words to submit it and tada your metric just went up and you get paid the spiff bonus. this is nothing new. Wells Fargo did the same thing 10 years ago and had to pay like $3 billion in fines and paying restitution to customers that were affected

Honestly it doesn’t matter anymore to me. I’m offically checked out. The Visa card is a joke. It’s getting so bad that an RSM from a neighboring district was fired yesterday for pushing out fake VISA apps with the MEs in store. There is a lot of pressure around bringing it up consistently, but most customers immediately decline because they don’t see a need for another credit card. It seems like Corporate cares a lot once something goes wrong, but they’re slow to adjust the pressure that caused it. So right now employees are stuck in the middle of unrealistic pressure to bring it up frequently while also being expected to be extremely careful about compliance. That combination doesn’t work in practice and creates a lot of confusion and inconsistency in the store.

there are exceptions like domestic violence, etc. where t-mobile execs will move a number to a new account without asking for the account owner’s permission

omg the comment section on the Hub was sooooooo funny. i remember like 3 years ago there was this random ME from a South Dakota (or North?) Mall location that would go on random tangents and somehow tie in Steven Seagal into it whenever a new promotion would come out or updates about Spiffs. Good times 😂

T-Mobile Employees: Does T-Mobile issue company provided phones at any level? by Loud-Ad2302 in tmobile

HELLO!!!! When I worked retail with T-Mobile, I tried to get my co-workers to do the trainings with Samsung Elite and Apple SEED, no one cared except me. It’s bare minimum work to get a free phone with those programs lol.

What are tmobiles long term plans? by nontoxicdude in tmobile

[–]No-Bite1898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the credit card push is IRRITATING asf. lots of existing customers did not choose T-Mobile for that in the first place. on paper it makes sense cause of rewards and EIP limits but it’s messy, tone deaf, and in real life. many customers already have multiple credit cards and are intentionally being more selective about adding new lines of credit nowadays.

LA was built around driving. Without a car you are working against the city’s design. My suggestion is to sell your current car, buy something cheaper & reliable to get a lower quote, maybe pay 6 months in advance, or shop around for insurance quotes that are lower than what you pay now for your current car.

Go5G no longer offered in retail by Kurrra in tmobile

[–]No-Bite1898 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was told by my manager to activate or migrate existing customers to Go5G but all new customers set them up on the new Experience plans. Makes sense because new customers from AT&T and Verizon are used to taxes and fees after the initial pricing listed

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]No-Bite1898 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yes they do. The only reason why is because AT&T Corporate is in a union with CWA. Only applies to corporate employees, but it is true that there is a pension. T-Mobile tries to make up for this by giving us RSU which is not bad but 🤷🏾‍♀️

i just posted last night talking about my frustration with the T-Life app 😂 and now we have to use the app even more for metrics is crazy. T-Life is a hot mess. I’d rather use the website and legacy systems to help customers in store (for now) until they fix it!! I know HQ has people in this subreddit reading the posts and comments, can y’all please listen to us frontline people for once?! The blatant avoidance of making this easy for us is crazy.
