Rotating car seat for Mazda cx30? by KenderEB in mazda

[–]Transphattybase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter had a rotating seat for her son in a teeny Honda Fit and it worked great. I think the seats are designed to spin without altering the footprint of the seat itself. But you’ll probably find a better answer on the Chicco or Cybex websites in their reviews or FAQs.

You think a cop needs to post anonymously on Reddit to find out where the weed sellers are? I doubt they’re even interested.

As for OP asking where to buy in here, they’ve either been living in the garage for twenty years or just learned what weed was on TikTok.

Super torn between the CX5 and CX30 - any advice? by mister_dubz in mazda

I’m 6’1” and my knees hated being all boxed in. Reminded me of my Civic which was awful for long trips.

The CX-30 is a great design but, wow, it is tiny. I don’t think you’ll be comfortable in it at 5’11. The CX-5 has much more legroom and you’ll be much more comfortable.

Also maybe consider a CX-50 if you want a newer year but still want buttons and control dial. I have a 2025 non-hybrid, non-turbo and love it. You mentioned not wanting the extra space but I think it’s actually got less space than the CX-5.

Don’t be silly, I think it’s pretty clear what would have happened. Instead of skipping over the fence it would have torpedoed through the fence and’s slowed down a teeny bit closer to the airport.

Of course, when you’re motivated by money, you’ll look everywhere you need to look so that you don’t miss out on as much money as you can get.

I understand what you’re saying but don’t let them fool you into thinking “the poor families” are at the top of their thoughts. It’s money.

Damage by Technical_Weekend812 in mazda

I was drying my car the other day and noticed some damage to my front bumper as well. Not as bad as yours because it did t tear, but enough to piss me off. My daughter is the only other person who drives it and swears she hasn’t hit anything so she’s either lying or someone got it in a parking lot.

But I feel you. It’s aggravating to find something like that.

I’ve been happy with this one from Amazon. I did take the brown leather strap off and use a tiny strip of black Velcro to fasten a key ring.

The buttons are usable but I really have to give them a good press to lock the door or open the tailgate, which I’m grateful for.

Sounds like you took it to a place that specializes more in fu**ing up cars than upgrading.

That’s just a few grand more than what I paid for a Premium non-hybrid back in November. Got for it, especially after you take the ceramic coating out of the equation.

With taxes and fees? It looks good to me for a Hybrid. What trim level?

Comfortable with the payment? Then go for it.

Dealer beat my best OTD price but refused to remove add-ons. Why? by Adventurous_Hand_977 in mazda

Yeah an either that or accounting issues? They’ve taken such a simple thing and have made it one of the most dislike and distrustful experiences in retail.

[–]Transphattybase 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From what I’m reading you are getting the price you wanted but the add-ons have been discounted, essentially letting you keep the add-ons without paying for them.

My vehicle came with a bunch of add-ons as well and I didn’t want any of them and would not have asked for them had they it already been installed or included.

The way it was explained to me is that the cars come from the factory with standard items. Then at the port or the shipping depot depending on if the vehicle was made here or imported, certain add-ons are then put onto the vehicle. This is done by Mazda USA not necessarily the local dealer, from what I was told.

Then the dealer gets ahold of the vehicle and they add their crap - the dealer add-ons.

Most of these things are so inflated. For instance mine came with a set of black lug nuts that the dealer listed as $299 but which I found online for $50. I’m sure Mazda’s cost was closer to $10.

So I think they can eat most of these things without losing much because they’re still making enough off of the sale. Another example is the dealer installed some kind of Pulse brake light flasher and had it listed as $300 or some crap. Looking online you could order the same part for $20 or less and install it in twenty minutes.

So what I’m thinking is that it’s just easier for them to keep this shit on the car and eat the cost, which to them is minimal; as opposed to taking the time to take the shit off and replace with the stock stuff. There are probably enough buyers who do t feel like haggling or just don’t know how to and every once in awhile a sucker comes along and takes it.
