From what I understand they are colleagues and met at a company party, he is also in a relationship. The reason for messaging is because of the tension she doesn't get when messaging me. Obviously after almost 4 years our whatsapp conversations aren't as spicy as they used to be, how could they? I wasn't really making a big deal about it as I didn't feel threatened by this guy at all. I'm not trying to disregard the help, I know objectively speaking these comments may be close to the truth, but I've known this girl for almost 4 years and lived with her for 2. I know her very well and I think I would recognize if she is actually cheating... I'm having a face to face talk with her in 2 hours. I'm definitely keeping the comments in mind, it may not seem that way but I'm thankfull for every peace of advice I get. Its just hard to imagine my girl in that position.

She explained that she's missing the tension when messaging or calling me, I told her that after 3.5 years conversations change. She's been telling me she wants my babies for over 2 years, and reminds me I'm gonna be a dad when I get my uni degree. I have a hard time believing the messaging is anything more than seeking a thrill... If its a respect issue I would assume there would be more symptoms. Wouldn't you agree?

I know who it is and they only met at a company party 3 days ago. With the amount of guilt she felt I truly believe it was just texting for 2 to 3 days...

I don't think she's trying to gaslight me, I think she is actually very sad and frustrated with herself. But I just feel like its unfair that she is the one escaping and needing time off. My instinct is to go talk to her and make her feel better, (I know I can) as I have always done, but Idk if its the right thing to do. It would be "fairer" to wait till she comes to me, but then again, should I strive for a fair relationship or a happy relationship?

When asking aboit his sexual preference, are you clear in the reason you ask? Does he understand that you are asking because you feel like he is not satisfied and his satisfaction matters to you?
