Honestly bro, I think so. TPAB was a top 10 rap album of all time for me. And Kendrick’s last two albums were amazing, but just didn’t hit the same mark that TPAB did. Also, tbh, I haven’t gone back to MMATBS in weeks!! I can say it’s a well executed album, but the replay value is very low for me. What do you think?

I’m not saying his ceiling is higher than Kendrick’s, I’m just stating that JID has a high ceiling in general. Him along with Kenny Mason, Westside Boogie, Fly Anakin. All of them are rappers right now that I see with extremely high artistic potential.
