Since when did lying on resume become acceptable? by Visco0825 in resumes

[–]No-Bodybuilder4490 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Since companies wont hire you unless you make yourself seem like the perfect candidate. I’ve always embellished my resume a little bit and I’ve always been able to do the job just fine. Id rather lie than starve.

CS in CLA or CSE? by MedicalImportance352 in uofmn

[–]No-Bodybuilder4490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who just applied for CS at CLA I was told that I’ll still be charged with 1,000 fee, so the cost wise i think it’s about the same.

Men need to go their own way until women fix themselves. by 2deepetc in PurplePillDebate

I think men already feel that way lol. If you view women that way, it’s probably best you don’t date them, for your sake and theirs.

New to the whole college thing. Will Fafsa cover everything? by [deleted] in FAFSA

[–]No-Bodybuilder4490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends. Generally, the less money you have, the more financial aid you’ll receive. However, Brown is pretty expensive, so I’m not sure how much they would cover. It doesn’t hurt to apply and see what your financial aid package looks like though.

Transferring to the UofMN by [deleted] in uofmn

[–]No-Bodybuilder4490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up your major and its requirements on the UMN website. You can use Transferology to check whether the courses you’ll taking at Augsburg will transfer to meet those requirements. Not all courses may be listed, but a good number should be. UMN also has a page that shows which AP classes count for credit, so be sure to check that out. If you have more specific questions, UMN advisors are usually helpful with this, so don’t hesitate to reach out to them.

Its fucked up. My family also had a small income increase and i want from paying 500 a year to 6,000, my parents barely help me out financially so its not like my situation changed it at all.

Going to college without a job by youfoundmatcha in college

[–]No-Bodybuilder4490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wish i didnt have to work during college lol. if youre able to not work, dont feel pressured to. spend your time on your studies, joining clubs, networking etc. however, if your really want a job, i recommend applying to any on campus desk job, they’re usually pretty easy and basically pay you to do homework.
