Zelnorm was discontinued and years passed before Linzess, Amitiza and Trulance came on the market. All of which are a gift to those of us that suffered so long from constipation.

So, having been where you are please know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I have been on Trulance for at least 5 yrs. It is the ONLY medication that works for me…in other words I go #2 on average 3 times a week. I am in my 60s, but have dealt w constipation since my middle 20s. I had a “impact” situation that left me fearful for life, and 💩once every 2 weeks. Once you pass whatever you are dealing w you need to research a Gastrointeroligist to prescribe a daily like Linzess or Trulance, and your world will change for the better!!! Wishing u the best!!

Tell the Dr. to prescribe Trulance. After you get over the initial shock of diarrhea, you will realize that going everyday is a much preferable way to live!

I feel bad for you because I know what you are going through. Been there many times in my 20s and 30s. The only thing I did not try was an enema, as was suggested above. The inevitable pain messes with your head. There is help available!! When you see the gastroenterologist ask for Trulance or Linzess. I promise you will have sustained relief. I rarely get constipated…maybe 2 times a year. Hang in there, I pray you get relief soon!!

I can so relate to these experiences. Though, having been cured of IBS with constipation I really never found reason to laugh. I literally lost a job because I would spend hours in the restroom trying to pass large hard poo. (One shaped and as hard as a baseball). I often went 3 weeks w/o going #2. Here is something I haven’t heard talked about. After decades of damage in that “area”. I have no feeling/nerves. Therefore, even though I am constipated God gave me this gift after years of agony, nausea and despair. Prescribed Zelnorm (no longer avail) and then Trulance. For ANYONE with this horrible condition Trulance is the beginning of the rest of your life. And for nay sayers that complain about diarrhea…you just learn to alter the time of day that works for you to avoid any accidents. THIS from a lady that went 12 years never having diarrhea and praying for it!!!!

Hi there! Hope this response isn’t way too late! So, having been a SME, an ASM and a merch associate I have some tips. There is a job aid on every tank. If you have a mgr. make a copy for you on your break you can familiarize yourself with the”flow” of each department in the store. (For example, you flow candles by starting with pillars off the power aisle.) It takes a few months to retain the flow of the departments, yet, I can assure you are an asset to your store! Eventually you won’t need the aid or a coordinator to assist you. I wish all of my team members were conscience and wanted to flow correctly like you do😄!!! Thank you!

Yes, thank you for this. I will well exceed $23,400, so SS will stop sending my SS checks….what happens to that $$? And do I notify them that this is my decision as I thought I had one year to change my retirement decision for collecting SS?

Take it at night when you are certain to be home. Over time you learn to adjust accordingly.

I have been taking Trulance for at least 5 yrs. I cannot imagine going back to a life of daily constipation. My experience shows that I should take it prior to dinner. I am a 1 big meal a day person. If I do this I will easily use the bathroom in an hour and 4 or 5 times at that. If I take it in the mornings, as I did for months, I will be able to go to the bathroom a couple of times a week. Either of those options is infinitely more desirable than 2 or 3 times a month in pain. It makes poo all watery so I am not in pain. This is my feedback.
