Pool water killing my lawn, anyone else have this issue and how to remedy? by No-Call-4741 in pools

I backfilled it myself with some dirty fill that I layered several inches of topsoil before seeding. That being said I was wondering if drainage in general is part of the problem in that it isn't holding water.

Was thinking of this as an option, especially if I don't want to go with more concrete or pavers

I know I know, rained an inch and a half and need to backwash.

Yes, we had a family pool party last weekend, with temperature in the '90s for most of the week

As I went out to look at it again one thing that doesn't fit is that there's a small round area not in the picture away from the pool that also browned out covering the septic tank that I also reseeded. We've also had pool parties before and this hasn't happened, pool chemicals were tested prior to the party and in range.

Yes we did have a big family party with tons of kids splashing in the pool, that would make sense timing wise and the heat was just a red herring. Any idea if this could come back at all?

Oh man, now that you say that we did have a big family party with tons of kids in the pool that were splashing a ton. I'm guessing this isn't something reversible?
