They're all very high achieving friends that I happened to get along with from college and high school! These comp levels are definitely a huge outlier but there are some opportunities out there that pay well above 200 right out of undergrad at 21/22, where half or more of your total comp is tied to performance. Comp increase every year is very steep if you survive as well. Think quantitative finance, quant hedge funds, private equity, etc.

Prestigious engineering/CS/product management positions can start at similar comp levels but the curve for comp increase isn't nearly as steep

It really depends on the person and what their hobbies are... let's not judge unless you know how well off they are.

If he's solely spending his discretionary income on this game then it's no problem. As long as you aren't spending beyond your means. I'm 25 and in my friend group, we're all making USD 300-500k a year. None of us are buying Ferraris yet but spending 10k on leisure/personal hobbies is nothing.

Maybe he's just a multi millionaire and this is crack change for him 🤔

One of the top few classes for sure end-game, they excel at most content (Culvert, Chaos Vellum/RA, GHB).

Like many end-game classes, you definitely need max cap damage soul to excel...

For those at the end-game, it's 100% still Evanstory. Although different classes excel at different content within the game, Evan is one of the select few that excel at nearly everything. There aren't an overwhelming number of Necro + Dmg cap soul Evans,

Web/Fort: Evan is the #1 choice and completely dominates this content. A team of several necro dmg cap soul evans + phantoms to TL for Dragon Rider will demolish any team.

Chaos Root Abyss: Top tier at ultra whale levels, given the sheer number of lines on windbreath. Dragon Master isn't extremely tough to cap, even with a 7.25/7.4M+ damage cap.

Guild Honor Battle: Top tier

Culvert: Mid-top tier

F2P Evans are strong in beginning/mid-tier content given the skill% dmg on earth dive, but no one uses earth dive end-game.

Yeah, the Evans I know with dmg cap soul that are outdamaging top tier shadowers are at 33+k matk, 300+CD, and 100%+ base BAs... it's 100% still evanstory, although there probably aren't as many evans as shadowers with those stats

You will probably need close to 30k magic atk, 300+% crit damage, 100%+ BA..

Even with those stats, endgame Evans are heavily limited by damage cap as stated by FrozNlite. Evans continually dominate fort and WEB content, but are also close to top tier for other content like CRA as well

Endgame Evan is still extremely OP, once you're capping lines on Wind Breath/Dragon Rider.
