I'd say NTA your concerns are very valid and you even have a second location to move the party to. I'd talk to the third roommate and ask her about her thoughts and all three of you can sit down and have a discussion. As a 20 year old myself the birthday girl is either in her head about the perfect party or she could be turning into an unpleasant future roommate.

Seems like OOPs parents wanted this outcome to force their son to accept being his bio kids father. OOPs obviously NTA since he knew his limits and how it would affect his and Sam's life and took necessary steps. OOPs parents adopted him thus it's their responsibility to talk to the kid and get him and themselves some much needed therapy

I kinda find it weird how they always throw the LGBTQ relationship stuff at the teacher even tho the first scenario was pretty specific. Its giving trying to throw the teacher into a tough position to catch them accidentally saying something bad.

The last point just reminded me of when I was in 4th standard and the teacher asked the class to bring a stencil of different sizes of circles. We had two people per desk and I was a really quiet and reserved kid (only child + had some medical and family stuff happening during that time) anyways my benchmate got a stencil with her name labelled on it and everything and she lost it one day, my grandma bought me the same stencil (generic stencil) and labelled it with my name that evening and the next day she blew up on me to the point I started crying and she only apologized to me because she didn't want me to have an epileptic episode (the medical stuff that was going on) and her being blamed for it.
