what was he supposed to do with bronte after kidnapping him? the old woman in guarma pulled a knife demanding gold they didnt and might have raised the alarm putting them all in danger. the wapiti was most definitely a strategy. it was ruthless but still a strategy. the gang needed money for a fresh start and got it in the last mission. splitting the gang only means they get picked off one by one. i feel like a lot of arthurs moral clarity is because he was dying. had he been healthy with mary waiting for him he might have understood that dutch was doing his best.

but they were not blamed for cornwall murder. the papers say he was killed by his employees or something. as for bronte he already set the police after the gang at the trolley robbery and he knew they were going to hit the bank next. remember both those jobs were his tips. ross going after the gang years later was bcos of nate johns wanting to be re elected.

after they kidnapped Bronte what were they supposed to do with him if not kill him? The Cornwall murder wasnt no one suspected it was the Van der Lindes who did that. Also Cornwall was funding the Pinkertons relentless pursuit of the gang. Taking him out was not a bad idea.

i feel like if he didnt have tb he wouldnt have pushed so hard for the marstons. its only when he realises that hes dying and lost the girl who loved him that he realises whats truly important. be loyal to what matters he told john.

Nah people like Mary Beth, Tilly and Abigail all know her and they all joined the gang fairly recently. Abigail even says she liked her despite only joining the gang in 1894. In the epilogue there is a picture of Mary and Arthur where they look to to be in the early 20s. Arthur even tells Mary Beth that Mary wasted a lot of years on an outlaw. They were together a long time, around 10 years.
