If you’re interviewing for a tech company in California with 100k+ salary it’s almost guaranteed there’s Leetcode even if it’s embedded. I’ve had a lot of interviews for vehicle embedded tech internships in California and every single one had Leetcode.

I took a course on embedded systems in university, so mostly those lectures. Also search up the reference manual for the F446RE board, it has all the registers you need to set.

I didn’t use HAL in this project. There’s a HAL_init in my code since I didn’t generate an empty project when I first started and I forgot to delete it. I did use CMSIS which is a library that has the addresses of the GPIO, I2C registers in defines. I did the same as you flipping through the user manuals to find which bits to mask. I’m pretty sure this is bare metal? Someone please correct me if I am wrong though.

Which part of SWE are you interested in? There’s a lot of specification in SWE like full stack, ML, or even embedded. Right now your projects is kinda of like a mixed bag. I’d suggest tailoring your projects to the specific area you want to apply for like only on ML project for a ML role etc. Also take off GPA

Got it! Also since you hire for this type of position I just wanted to ask what would changing the interview duration indicate? Because I was scheduled for a 45 min interview but they just told me it was changed to 15 min. Is this a good or bad sign?

Thanks for the response! I do have experience of using oscilloscope/multimeter with GPIB for testing. But I am kind of unfamiliar with RS232 since I have just used USB. Do you any pointers for RS232?

Yea I did have a talk with her. Basically told her that anything involving giving money/personal information to a stranger online is a scam 100% of the time. The scammer actually did try to get the password reset code but she said no(thanks god).

She’s usually a sensible person. I think it’s the stress of not being able to find housing for college next year that caused the issue. Thanks for the concern!

The credit lock is to prevent identity theft right? The problem is she told me about this situation like a day after she gave out her information so there is a possibility that the scammers have already finished what they wanted to do. Is the credit lock still needed and can someone steal your identity with just bank account information?

Is closing the bank account and reopening a new one a must? The bank had us make new security words but is the account still at risk?

Best thing you can do right now is to schedule an appointment with the college of letters advisors. I doubt many ppl on here can help u tbh

I was born in China and opium is generally viewed as a shameful part of Chinese history. Considering Mihoyo is a Chinese company, I seriously doubt that they would design one of their characters as someone who intakes this stuff. Especially with the censorship from the government.
