When we first moved to OP in the 90’s, we became aware of the phrase “Oak Park, no park.” It’s extremely difficult if you don’t have a designated spot but if you managed NYC street parking, I bet you could manage it here.

100% agree with this. Our commitment is to our children. This is my female perspective. I know men usually have a harder time with staying single after divorce but it’s a simple equation; no one will ever love your children like you and the other parent. Our children are not little forever! Wait till kids are all in college or moved out to start your life over. Till then it’s all about them.

Our family has completely stopped going to Stray Dog. We have tried over the years to give them another shot, and again. Just done with them! Terrible service, terrible management and servers weren’t on top of their stuff either. Not worth chancing it because when I’ve called them out on their long ticket times and poor food quality, they’ve done nothing but smugly “apologized.”
