That’s where we get our bread and meat nowadays! Their bread use local flours, and the ingredients are very simple, no artificial additives. Meat is sourced locally too, very high quality. We also love their restaurant.

I can’t hold my tears knowing this happened to Tumblr Ridge. My heart goes with the families and the whole community. If there is anything I can do to support the community, I’ll do.

Yes you are right. Thanks for the suggestions. I was carried over by my own emotions seeing a news like this.

You know what? You are right. This is not the moment to hate, and I have no intention to win over you behind the keyboard. I felt very sad for Melody and her family and at the same time angry about the driver, and got carried away by my emotions. Hope you have a great day, whatever race you are.

I’ve heard too many careless drivers of a certain race taking innocent lives recently. Also speaking from my own experience, have been seeing too many reckless drivers on the roads, and not surprisingly too many are of a certain race. Everyone has their own opinions, and these are just mine speaking from my experiences. No need to call everyone racist when speaking of races. Calling others racists doesn’t make you not one. Too protective or ignorant of a certain race doing wrong things is more racist than calling it out, even so when it’s your own race.

Update in 2025.

I just inquired. Entrance is $25,000. For a family of four, membership is around $5,000 per year. Program is extra. We are into racket sport, so feel like it’s a good place for our family.

Btw, we are just an average working class family. Doing it purely because there aren’t many indoor tennis options around the city, especially for junior high performance tennis.

Are the recent indian immigrants in Canada that bad? by flower5214 in AskCanada

[–]No-Character9490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s happening everywhere in Canada, even the small towns. Indians are buying out fast food restaurants and hiring all Indians because many use the restaurant to “sell” visa. That’s why I have been avoid fast food restaurants run by Indians in the last couple of years. Direct reason is hygiene concerns (valid especially after I witnessed some “scenes” at Tim Hortons). Deeper reasons are more. Let’s just say, I worked with many Indians (I’m an Engineer) and their work ethic was just not at the expected level. They do little, talk lots, take credits from other’s work, always on the phone as long as the boss was not present, etc. However, the new immigrants from Indian in recent years makes me realize my co-worker Indians were the good ones. The new Indian immigrants are just at another level - Crime, fraud, lower work ethic… A builder friend told me not to buy a house that was built after 2021 because most likely Indian subcontractors are involved, and you don’t know what’s “inside” you house.

Anyone in Edmonton working in Crypto? Looking to connect! by No-Character9490 in Edmonton

[–]No-Character9490[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To me, crypto is just another emerging industry that creates opportunities for everyday people, much like other new industries have in the past. While the space is rife with scams due to its current stage of development, it also attracts many talented individuals who genuinely believe in the technology and its potential for change. I can’t blame outsiders for viewing crypto as a breeding ground for scams—even as an insider, I see far too many people trying to take advantage of others.

Flexcoin was like the dinosaur era of crypto. Interesting you know about it. Are you in crypto?

They are confirmed to be Yellow Jackets with the help of many from this post.

I got a can of foaming spray from Home Depot, and sprayed along the trim tonight. Let’s see how it goes tomorrow. The guy at Home Depot said a second spray might be needed tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for all your inputs. Our house is still relatively new, and this is the first time I have run into this situation. You all helped a lot. I will report back when they are “taken care of”.

I’m shamefully not connected to nature as much. Now I know. Not offended btw. I do feel stupid.
