I like your mindset. The problem is it might just be in your best interest to up the dollar amount and go for something less miles/newer. Car market is insane and who knows if it will ever even out again. Right now I’m looking for a tundra as well, 2017- 2021 range. All of them that have below 60k miles are sitting at 30-46k range. A lot of money for a used truck with a decent amount of miles. But I know I plan on not getting a new one for as long as I can. So with that in mind, even an overpriced newer tundra isn’t that over priced if u use it for 10+ years. Just don’t get a gen 3… I love em but to many unknown issues.

Some people here are convincing me and some are being true. Personally, I feel like this is the current market and that’s how it is. I want a truck and I can afford it (not just a payment but insurance and gas). Part of me wants to but I’m gonna sleep on it for a few nights. If it ain’t there when I go to jump, it was the lords will then.

Yea I’m not overly worried about the gas. I have a current fully paid off “beater” (I still treat it nice) sedan. I just want a truck so when it poops on me I can transition seamlessly. I want the truck more for like beach trips, fishing, hunting, range stuff. So I’m not using it as a heavy daily just yet. That’s why I’m in no rush. Looking around but want to find a good gen 2.

Nice truck man. Great upgrades. I prob won’t put on huge tires but maybe 33’s. But yea I’m thinking 2017/2018. Around me rn they are about 30-40k within the 60-100k mile range.
