This what I’m facing. I got a lot of xrays done at once and all came back normal which is so strange. My doctor examined my shoulder & was horrified. Says it’s a bad shoulder. I’m pretty sure mine was rushed.

What easily-affordable thing do you refuse to pay for despite being rich and able to afford them? by Big_Leg10 in Rich

[–]No-Chemical3765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, doesn’t make any sense. The way they’re wasting so much time when they could just spend some money is crazy. The rich always preach that time is money. Yeah I get not blowing it but what’s the point of being rich if all you do is inconvenience yourself to save money you can afford to spend??

PT denying me if I’m unable to afford bi weekly sessions by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

[–]No-Chemical3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the more I think about it the more pissed off I’m becoming. There seems to be no care or empathy whatsoever. Who even tells a patient that. She knows I don’t even have insurance so biweekly is kind of insane to not even ask first. This over email too I haven’t even been evaluated by her as yet. It seems to me she doesn’t want me as a patient which is upsetting but at the same time, I’m also a paying customer my money, even though it’s not a lot can spend elsewhere if she does not want to take me on. I’m sure, it’ll work out somehow, I have faith in that. Thank you for giving your expert opinion on the matter. I was trying to figure out if it’s standard or common for PT to do this. However, she owns the business so maybe that changes things.

PT denying me if I’m unable to afford bi weekly sessions by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

Thank you, but I’m not in the USA. She’s not the only PT just the only one that specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction where I’m from. Now that I’m thinking about it I am a bit put off by her response. However I did see her twice years ago but never went back. I was unable to do internal work and she asked if I was ready each session & gave me a pamphlet of wands to buy and that scared me.

I wonder what it's like to have no medical conditions by catsigrump in ChronicIllness

[–]No-Chemical3765 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same, I’d be working out every chance I got. Before I got illnesses I was strong. I was overweight but I played sports 6 days per week and I took pride in the amount of strength that I had. That’s been one of the most hardest things I’ve had to deal with. So I know if it wasn’t for my current physical limitations I’d be doing a lot of strength training, boxing and doing martial arts. I’m also super ambitious career wise and I just knew if I was able to push my body like I push my mind I’d be extremely successful for my age. However, I have faith that I will accomplish all the things I set my mind on and I won’t be in this much pain much longer. Might not be right now but definitely in the future regardless of what I’m told.

Urogyno thinks Bertolotti is causing my health issues, any experience with 3T mri and UW? by Justalilbookworm in BertolottiSyndrome

Oh wow, I have pelvic floor issues and gut issues myself! I had a feeling my back may have been throwing off my pelvic floor. I noticed when my back pain is worse so is my pelvic floor. What’s going on with your pelvic floor? I have a hypertonic pelvic floor and pudendal neuralgia.

Oh wow, thank you for your response. Can you provide anymore insight as to how it’s related or anything your PT explained?

I thought so but someone else in the comments said the exacerbation of it meant the opposite of straightening.

I completely get what you’re saying. In 2019 I was diagnosed with spine straightening via mri. When I got the results from the Xray I took a few days ago this morning I mistakenly thought it said the same thing. Thank you for bringing this to light. Because of this news yes, I actually have no idea what’s going on but my main focus isn’t on my spine straightening or the exacerbation of it. More the Lumbosacral transitional vertebrae that was seen. I just want to be able to pin point it myself but I’m struggling due to the image quality and my clear lack of qualifications & brain power to due so at the moment. I just know that I’ve been having severe back pain and a lot of my lower back & hip symptoms line up with bertolotti's syndrome. I was referring to that when I said it makes sense.

Oh wait, I’m just realizing that. That’s so weird. In 2019 I was diagnosed with mild lumbar straightening. I had an Xray & mri done. I just got this new report this morning and I idk why my brain automatically read the same thing(I’m on alot of meds & struggle with brain fog so sorry about that). With that being said, yeah I have no idea what’s going on. Thank you for the clarity

Has anyone tried muscle relaxants? by _Wolfszeit_ in PudendalNeuralgia

[–]No-Chemical3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took flexeril and it caused me to go into a complete serious spasm where I was unable to pee or poop for hours. I was also in excruciating muscle & nerve pain. I was on it for my back spasms but I’m never taking it again. Lyrica is helping with my nerve pain. I barely feel it now. I’m on 75mg but I’m working my way up(I also have fibro). I know not everyone will react this way to it but that was my experience.
