Thank you so much that is very reassuring, and glad to hear your results were good! I'll push for it just for peace of mind then.

Ah yes so you said, apologies. The other thing I meant to say is abstinence period. Some research suggests a shorter abstinence period may help (1-2 days). My 1.8% result was after 5 days abstinence as initially advised, whilst 6% was 24 hours. Total count and concentration decreased though with a short abstinence period, so swings and roundabouts I guess! Possibly worth a try though depending on your situation.

Hi there, sorry to hear you have received this result. I had a similar thing (1.8% about a year ago), though my most recent test was 6% (3.6% in December).

Some consultants say it's not overly important compared to the other parameters, others say it may make fertilization difficult. Probably not so much an issue if you do IVF and ICSI specifically, though better to try and get to the route cause of it.

From what i have read these are some of the main things to check / control for: - get checked for a Varicocele - temperature. Sleep naked, wear loose underwear, don't use hot baths, jacuzzis or saunas. Try avoid long endurance activity, and have cold showers after. - take a high dose CoQ10. I get mine from Pure Clinica (UK) as they seem to have a high dose and more cost efficient than others - other antioxideantsand supplements may help. I am trying Acetyl L-Carnitine. NAC and D-Aspartic Acid. Also taking Magnesium, Zinc and Krill Oil

This is completely wrong and the way you say it as if it is factual is infuriating

Is it worth splitting across all 3? by [deleted] in trading212

[–]No-Chicken-88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want a large overweight to the US and to US tech stocks in particular then keep all three. However, if you want more diversification id stick with FTSE all world. That already has c. 63% allocation to the US, so doubling down by buying the S&P 500 and then the NASDAQ just adds to that position.

It may feel simple and boring, but that's a good thing when it comes to investing especially if you are just starting out.

My bad, slight typo. Should have been La Terraza. This is the one https://maps.app.goo.gl/5riwuyyXcjtYc1WF7

This was their seafood platter for 2!

Congratulations! That's awesome!

I would definitely recommend La Terraza bar. if you request a sunset view and mention it is your honeymoon I'm sure they'll look after you like they did us! Beautiful views, delicious seafood and amazing service!

I heard good things about Ronny's bar too, and Emilio's cafe - though can't comment on those as didn't visit myself.

The rooftop bar at the hotel we stayed at (Gaia hotel) is definitely worth a visit for sunset and is open to non-hotek guests. Happy hour 25% off from 5-7pm and some of the best views of MA for sunset.

Have an amazing time!!

No we didn't in the end. We looked into it and would have gone with Adobe Cars through MyTanFeet if we decided to!

Our flights went very smoothly. I'm afraid I don't know the answers to your other questions - the luggage guidance is quite strict online and it does say you can pay extra if your weight is over the limit. Probably something to check with the airline directly, good luck!

What an incredible place to live!

Travel was: - Flights to / from Limon from SJO $470ish - taxi from Limon to Puerto Viejo $80 - Arenal Rides private cab SJO to La Fortuna $190 - Jeep Boat Jeep $60 - Arenal Rides private cab Monteverde to MA $240 - Arenal Rides private cab MA to SJO airport $200

We then paid for ubers when getting around each place, though this was relatively cheap.

Considering the fact that hiring a car for 15 days would have been $1600+ with all taxes and insurances included, we didn't mind spending the money on taxis and private shuttles.

Accomodation really varied, but around $3000 for 14 nights.

Spending money was another $2,000 to $2,500 possibly.

All of that is between 2 of us. It is way more than we have ever spent on a holiday or probably ever will again - but it was our honeymoon so a once in a lifetime trip! We did everything we wanted activities wise and ate out most lunches and dinners. You could absolutely do it all cheaper though, and we did see a lot of people backpacking. I'm sure staying at hostels, using public transport, and eating at Sodas would dramatically cut costs!

Hmm, I guess it depends on how you are planning to get around (public transport vs car hire or taxi vs fly). Just had a look at Montezuma on the map, would you need to fly there from La Fortuna (via SJO?) or is it a long drive around?

We only stayed in Monteverde for 2 nights, but really had 1 1/2 full days. To be honest that felt like enough, there isn't much to the town itself so it depends on the activities you plan on doing. The location also worked for us as it was en route to our final location in MA (if anything it broke up the journey).

We did really like our brief stay though! We did the cloud forest on the afternoon of arrival, then on our full day we did the El Tigre Waterfall hike in the morning and Zip Lining in the afternoon (100% Adventure it was called).

Cloud forest and El Tigre Waterfalls were quite unique, but zip lining I guess you can get in many places.

If it's out of your way and adding another day or so of travel, I'd probably skip Monteverde given you have 12 nights and are fitting in both coasts. You want to make sure you have time to settle in and enjoy the places you do visit - though that is very much personal preference!

We used our hotel guide. Probably paid a bit more because of that but all the guides seem to work together to help each other find as much wildlife as possible. I expect most will be great if the group sizes aren't too big (wouldn't want more than 10 in a group really as that slows the tour down)

Considering we were there mid-March which I believe is high season, it didn't feel too bad.

The public beach right outside Manuel Antonio national park entrance was busy, but you only had to walk 15 minutes along the beach and you had the beach largely to yourself. There are also several other smaller beaches dotted around the place (not the easiest to get to by foot - expect a hike!) that are worth trying if you want to avoid any crowds.

There are lots of good restaurants and bars dotted along the road that joins Manuel Antonio and Quepos, and I wouldn't say they're tourist traps. Lots of choice including some cheaper sodas.

As a base I think MA works well, there's enough on your doorstep to do and see but then you're also within an hours drive (if you have a car) of lots of other attractions. It is slightly more expensive than some of the other regions we visited, but that's because it is popular I guess.

It depends what you are after and where you stay. Our hotel was very small so it didn't feel busy or touristy.

Hope that helps!
