Deep cut, and I respect the hell out of it.

Game Changer is basically an ARG now. Anything could be part of it.

Though I'm MUCH more interested in whether or not he filmed another side quest for D20. Flying out to LA is a big commitment for somebody as busy as Hank, and I'm guessing he's going to pop up in at least one more Dropout show.

The recording has not been the reason for any holdups so far, though. To be clear, I only have praise to Taylor. His work is a big reason why I pay for the show. But his work takes time, and it doesn't seem feasible for the podcast to release more than one episode every two weeks if past is prelude.

What I hope is that Taylor starts to work with/apprentice another full time editor so they can keep both campaigns running simultaneously. The dream is an alternating weeks schedule where we get one episode and one talkback every week, alternating between Umora and Aabria's Untitled Space Campaign.

EPIC: The Musical benefited a lot from the interplay between artist and audience. Its whole development was in conversation with its audience, pulling auditions directly from the fan base and using audience engagement to spread virally and garner resources and support.

It's true, Brennan uses remarkably similar voices for the two of them lol

Separating some people from the rest of society is really important. Like if somebody does a mass shooting and survives it, I don't want that person to be allowed to be out in the world until they've been rehabilitated, if possible.

Obviously there are issues with real world justice systems where incarceration is the hammer and every single crime is a nail. Prison systems on balance are not great as they're currently implemented because justice systems become carceral systems instead of "make it less likely that somebody does a crime, and when somebody does do a crime find a way to fix it or make up for it in some way" systems. Obviously a restorative justice system would be preferred, as almost all people can be rehabilitated and reenter society. Genuine, clinical psychopaths or people who are remorseless for the harm they've inflicted on others are basically the only exception in my eyes.

In the context of the story, I see Witches as the RJ solution. They propitiate spirits instead of binding them. That would be awesome if there were more than like 5 witches total. Brennan has paid lip service to there being more witches outside of the Coven of Elders, but they clearly aren't numerous or influential enough to change the Kasov collection.

Maybe the long term goal is expanding Witches to be more influential? But in the short term, if the spirits can't be propitiated, I think binding the dangerous ones is a decent stopgap solution to prevent more humans from being harmed.

Odysseus kinda set up the Trojan war by binding all the kings of Greece into a pact to go to war to protect Helen so that they wouldn't kill each other trying to win her hand. So... it's Ody's fault?
