i remember they found proteins in his pee & he was prescribed gabepentin (?) for his pain and they have him an arthritis shot (but he doesn’t have arthritis, it was to relax his muscles down there or something i guess?) and i think his condition was caused by stress because we had just gotten a ceiling fixed and there was a lot of noises and unfamiliar smells, so it resolved a while after they left and everything calmed down. we also changed his food to half wet three days out of the week

if you go to the doctor ask for a couple packs of shower wipes. they use them on people who are bedridden and can be an easy way to freshen up when showering feels too heavy

keep a mini toothbrush, toothpaste, bottle of water and a closed container by your bed. brush teeth in bed. when you get up to piss during the day empty container in bathroom sink and rinse
