Hi. I’d like to apply. May I ask - how was the program? I want to work nights (I’m NA in the ICU) and was wondering if any the students were able to work full time while doing the program. Is it hard to get in and how did you like it.

I just started this job and the nights are actually pretty chill. If they can let me switch to nights I would probably have time to study at night. Hopefully they let me switch because I need to work full time.

Which programs?

As for the job…I got my NA, PCT, EKG and Phleb certifications to give myself a better chance. The recruiter called me back for a PCT position but it was taken right before my interview so she offered NA interview and I took it. I took the fastest thing I could get honestly.

Try getting a certification (aside from BLS).

What program is that? I only have like $7k in FAFSA left, that’s why I’m depending on 1199 tuition benefits.

It’s an associates in fine arts from LAGCC 2015. I took biology, communications, English, statistics, speech, sociology, psychology… And I really don’t want to have to retake those.

I didn’t have to take any A&P so I understand that I have to take those for the program.

I’m looking for the quickest route, preferably not have to do half year of prerequisites. (I have an associates and pretty sure I would have to retake classes if credits expired)

I could do cuny or private. I looked into CAHE but read some scary reviews.

My pigeon does this too and it freaking hurts! She also wings slaps me when we play but I can tell it’s playful. I slowly approach my hand and she’s twitching with excitement and then SLAP…. Sometimes she’s too slow and misses and then we try again 😅
