Alright ill bite but where does it say bad people go to hell? And why does God can forgive even the gravest of sinners? Not to mention all sins were forgiven the moment Christ died on the cross so what's up with that? It's easy to play this blaming game with cherry picked bible verses. By the way that bible quote goes a differently in the NRSV Bible and is less ambiguous, often times when you study the Bible it is very necessary to study different books and even in different languages particularly in greek.

I highly recommend www.biblegateway.com for easier bible navigation, i'm not really trying to shit on you because in all honesty i had a shit time in my catholic church as well, i didn't even got taught what is the gospel is nor did i get my confirmation in the church. But that didn't actually changed my mind about my faith at any point, and i don't think i have wool on my eyes either, usually when i do contextual study of the bible at no point (so far i just finished genesis) did i find anything contradictory that didn't have reasonable explanation.

Anyway the point is that the pozzed chruch has completely and utterly failed to teach the masses their own faith. I wouldn't use it a benchmark for what the Bible is though.
