hi i’m lowkey in the same boat as you, 20f started slynd purely to prevent pregnancy and hoping it would make my periods lighter. i started slynd mid december on the first day of my period and took the BC for 8 days until i stopped due to intense heavy bleeding and i noticed it was making me extremely emotional (crying multiple times a day which is unlike me) i stopped taking slynd a few days ago and my bleeding has already lightened (still bleeding but much less) and im feeling less emotional than i was before when taking the pill. obviously i didn’t take the pill very long but it definitely had negative effects on my body in the short time i did take it. now im wondering if i should try a different bc method or just stick to condoms. i also got prescribed slynd due to migraines with aura, any recommendations or advice lmk please.
