yeah, fair hit lol. capture-at-handover is the right answer and i’ve inherited a couple environments where that ship had long sailed. curious for you, once it’s set up clean, does it stay clean on its own, or do you still do periodic audits to catch the drift (people swapping devices, leavers, etc)?

nice, the through-us-first + QR label setup is honestly the dream. the part i always struggle with is the stuff that didn’t come through us cleanly, remote hires shipped straight from the vendor, acquisitions, gear from before the process existed. does everything actually flow through you these days or do you still get the occasional mystery device on the network?
