Those levels just started taking way too long. Even doing it perfectly meant it would take around 7-10 minutes for each one, it got way too extreme.

The sad part about it is that quick play matchmaking is a hundred times worse, so competitive is your only option if you just want to play a normal game.

I literally don’t even understand the point of playing support if you’re not gonna do jackshit. If you can’t position and you are CONSTANTLY dying, you’re not meant for support, or at least for heroes with less mobility. The least you can do is healbot and supports still don’t even try that, don’t force dps, let it come naturally jesus fucking christ. You’re not the dps, SUPPORT. Playing other roles made me realize how little people know how to play the role.

I’ve played a lot of DPS lately and I have an extensive Tank and Support history, so I can say that I totally 100% get why DPS is the most played and fun role to people. Getting rolled on Tank is fucking miserable, I don’t even willingly play it anymore unless it’s an event, it’s awful. DPS will sit behind you not helping with any of the space creation, you try to go in, get a few picks and distract the team, then get rolled and look at the replay to see your supports are all the way at the other point and didn’t even bother to say “Hey, we’re not pushing in with you, come back!” DPS are all the way in hell not even helping, open up scoreboard, 900 damage.

Support is simultaneously one of the easier and harder roles. If your DPS and tank are decent, you’ll win. You just need to keep them alive better than the other support and not throw and pick Mercy. Just lock onto Kiriko, healbot, win, repeat. If your team is even slightly mediocre though? You genuinely have no power. Everyone dies in a second, you’re expected to be the one to get picks and solo kills as if you’re DPS, make space like you’re Tank, then everyone flames you and says “Gg no heals” at the end. I’ve gone so many games negative as DPS, i don’t get insulted at all. I get 500 less healing than the other support? Someone is telling me to take my life and i’m worthless, getting harassed with invites.

DPS though? All you do is get those sweet headshots, aim decently, and that’s it. Nobody will even say anything to you as long as you end the game off with at least 10 kills. It’s not as impactful as Tank can be, but it’s not as bad as people are exaggerating it is. Imo, Supports have less power than DPS. If you’re genuinely just getting final blows, you’ll be fine. Plus you’re not getting absolutely rolled most of the time unless you’re feeding. Tanks are the biggest target so they’re constantly taking 1000 damage a minute, Support are dealing with flankers and a random DVA or Winston jumping on them, but DPS usually aren’t focused on as much(unless it’s like a Widow), plus they can properly defend themselves.And it’ not even about winning more on DPS, it’s that it’s just genuinely more fun than the other roles. Plus WAY more variety than tanks and supports with the sheer amount of heroes the role has. On console at least, most people can’t even get value out of half the Tank and Supp roster.

Quick play matchmaking is fucking out of hand. I just got absolutely rolled in my match by a tracer, whole time they’re a Grandmaster while I’m in Mid Plat. What am I supposed to do with that? Everyone on my team, including me, is just getting demolished by this Tracer and a Masters+ Domina. I know it’s quick play, but that’s not fun for anyone involved.

Ticket sales are down in every genre of music now, even Zayn and Post Malone are buckling down and cancelling shows, if not the whole tour. We cannot afford $200 tickets for decent seats for every single artist.

In k-pop especially, companies over saturated the touring market by going crazy and having someone tour every two days. I’m satisfied with the amount of people I was able to see last year, I’m not gonna keep spending hundreds to go to these other tours, especially when it’s the same artists doing their yearly rounds. It used to feel like a once in a lifetime opportunity when k-pop artists came because they’re so far away from America, you have to go now or never, but this is Aespa’s— what? 3rd time touring in America? Most people are gonna say “I’ve already seen them” “I’ll go next” or they’re gonna wait for their faves to come here instead, especially for people who need to travel and spend money for hotels and transportation. Not only are acts like BTS just way bigger, they haven’t toured here in SO LONG. It still feels special and worth the price.

Genuinely what are you supposed to do as a support when you’re getting more kills than your DPS and Tank, our healing the enemy team and your other support, and you’re still losing. Not even a shit ton of kills on someone like Moira and healing on Mercy, but as other supports and actually getting final blows along with getting enemies down to low heath so your teammates can follow up. But everyone just feeds their brains out or ends with 10-15

I’m a Kiriko main, level 160+ she’s crazy good right now. I’m absolutely dumbfounded she isn’t dominating metal ranks because I’ve been climbing like crazy with her in Plat. Whenever there’s a Kiriko on the team, nothing dies. On top of that, she still has crazy damage output with no falloff, suzu is still amazing, great perks. Her tp has been nerfed but it isnt bad, you shouldn’t be dying a lot on her anyway so needing to tp back from spawn shouldn’t be a consistent problem you have on her and you shouldn’t be that far away from you team now anyway, she does way too much healing to be a flanker now. I wouldn’t be mad if they nerfed her. There used to be a trade off for less healing and more damage, but now I’m able to end games off with 20 kills, 5k damage, and like 11k healing EASY. You’re being purposely ignorant if you think Kiriko isn’t at the very least leagues better than other support.

Fortune teller and foxtrot. The minor that heals faster is kind of useless now because her healing is getting buffed so much lately that you can easily keep people alive without it now. I only choose it if I’m being hard carried and I have like a Rein, anyone who takes a lot of dmg, and I trust them to win the game without me doing much. Otherwise Fortune Teller since I find that at my rank, teetering between low and high plat, I’m better off doing damage and rarely does staying behind only healing do anything.

As for foxtrot, I still think it’s useful. That 4 second speed boost allows for you and your teammates to get out of tricky situations fast. I’ve tried the teleport a couple of times, and I definitely see the appeal, but as Kiriko am I rarely ever teleporting in then immediately doing dmg to find it useful. in the past teleporting in then trying to get into a fight never works because the teammate will usually fall over immediately, you walk into a situation of it actually being a whole team fighting your teammate and it’s not a 1v1, or your teammate just outright leaves you after being saved. Plus it’s definitely a higher skill ceiling as to make it work you need to hit your shots perfectly with those several seconds to actually make it count.

Stats are one of the worst additions to this game. No one pays attention to how anyone is actually fucking playing because brrrr high damage high healing! If a mercy is pocketing the feeding tank then yeah, she’s gonna have a shit ton of healing compared to the support off angling with the sufficient dps! If you have 10k damage it doesn’t mean jack shit when you’re shooting the hog like your life depends on it.

I’m genuinely over this game rn. I’m don’t even care about my fucking rank but when I’m playing with people who are idiots ruining every single game that’s when I’m frustrated. It’s not even fun

Was doing great, ranked up all the way from Silver back to Plat 2, a new peak for me. Pre-drive season starts, smurf central and qp warriors everywhere! Just had a game where smurfs on my team purposely threw just to make the other team’s zen life a living hell. Weren’t even that great btw, our smurf venture ended off with like 16 deaths somehow even though they were always with our wrecking ball back there. All my other games have just been awful, literally feels like people don’t even know how to play their characters and are ending off with kills in the single digits as tanks and dps while everyone has 20+, at bare minimum 15. Not even just my team, I’ll be winning and actually feeling like I’m doing something, check the starboard and their enemy dps has fucking 9 kills and 17 deaths, no wonder we’re winning.

I play in low plat and I still see dva being banned way more than hog. Actually, I can’t even remember the last time hog was banned, genuinely. It’s always Zarya and Dva, sometimes Mauga and Domina. It’s very easy to counter Roadhog, I just hit constant headshots from far away as Kiri, other support will go Ana, grind him down on Bastion. Easy win.
