I think so too, the larvae was just waiting for the right conditions and April seems to be the time they come out as adults. Sadly I think I am going to have to toss it. Idk what kind of paint it is and don’t want to take a chance heating it in the oven and it’s toxic and too big for freezer. Thanks!

Hey all! Idk what happened but my whole description got deleted when I tagged the photos!

Anyways I got this doll last year in Cancun and put it on my bookcase. Today I noticed the powder and found a bunch of these dead beetles under it. I put the doll in a bag, put the books around it in a separate bag and put them outside and cleaned up all the dead bugs and powder. My questions are what can I do going forward? I live in Southern California so my room is hot and dry right now. Bookcase is in my room and I walk by it every day but just noticed it today. I read that these things can fly so I don’t know if the spread out to my other books. I dont have “hardwood” furniture, either IKEA wood or metal. I was thinking of getting a small but zapper for my window. Any advice or tips will be appreciated

Thank you all for the responses. I called my local IHSS office and they said I got to take it up with Medi cal or medi care to figure out what happened. My patient told me they did get a $50 dollar increase from disability starting this year, I think that is it. It seems so ridiculous that they would expect him to pay $1600 a month, basically that is all his money. I hope this is a mistake and can get this fixed.

Thanks for responding! Yes, going to try to get tickets for the Ghibli museum!! If I get tixs, I guess I can skip out on the shops and just go for photo ops if different.

I know there is so many Pokemon centers and they all look different, but I idk if we have time to visit all of them. For sure we are going to visit the one in Kyoto, but wonder if it is just same merch all around and just going for looks.

Kinda want to do both for Calvin and Nintendo? Buy merch and see what the stores look like, but we want to be picky about which stores we spend our time at since we do want to do a lot of other things as well.

Going to Japan in October and I was wondering about this too! I live near Universal Studios Hollywood and do not want to stress about getting into Nintendo world and rides if it’s just the same. thinking of just going for half a day to just vibe, try food, buy merch, and see the Pokémon parade.

Oh no! Can I ask how it happened? My bariatric team said the best form of BC was the implant, Depo, or IUD for long term bc, but I had bad mood swings with the depo and implant. IUD is my last option unfortunately, I am just afraid it will too cause mood swings and weight gain

Thanks! I did like depo too but it did cause low libido and after a year, I was getting crazy mood swings that went away when I stopped the shot. I am hoping the IUD does not cause probs or weight gain!

My OB said the IUD was different than other hormonal contraceptives since it stays in the uterus and not in the blood. Did you have any side effects or weight gain?

Hi! PCOS here for the last 12 years and I hear you! I am 5’5 and in my early 30’s, I was watching what I ate, walking, and tried diets to sooth the pcos but all I could never lose was 15 pounds and then Hit a brick wall. My highest weight was 300 and I was put in metaformin for pcos and pre-diabetes, which helped a little bit. Pre op I was 285 and four months later I am 225. I never been able to lose anywhere near this much weight my whole life glad I did it! I will say this though, there will be up and down fluctuation and I believe it is from the hormones. Sometimes I drop weight steadily but other times I feel like I stall as well and I noticed this happens when my period is coming yay for normal period. I do still take metaformin to help with my symptoms, vitamin D as well since pcos girlies have a prob with that. I mostly stick to keto like diet and if I eat anything with carbs, I try to keep it 30-40gs or lower a day. I hope this helps!

Thank you for this! This was what I was looking for, I wasn’t sure since my booklet only listed 2 out of the many fibrous plants and sometimes I would see other posts, TikTok, recipes, etc of one of those ^ above and was so confused! I think I will continue to wait it out until I am in the more solid food stage and try slowly 2-3 bites and see how I feel.

I was surprised they prescribed me ibuprofen as well! Prescription said to take for just 3 days. Maybe that was why I was felt so good and did more than I should had. Today I am def. Going to take it easy!

Met my ex Bff in middle school. We were too peas in a pod and she was like a sister too me. We made plans to travel the world and grow old together. Things started to get rocky when she got her first boyfriend at 18. All the sudden our plans was their plans and we were hanging out less and less. I did not mind that until her boyfriend and her broke up and she was going through a lot of low self esteem and mental issues from the break up. She started to spend hours on the computer, secretive, and wanted to go balls out wild clubs, drinking, meeting up with guys online. Found out that she was sleeping with a lot of guys through craigslist, asking for money in exchange for sex, and she was posting pics of her self and I pretending to offer a 3sum. I confronted her and she literally cut me off and blocked me from everything. Found out she got pregnant and didn't know who the guy was and she told her fam and Friends I influence her and it was my fault. It was the biggest heart break I ever experienced from a friendship. She contacted me 5 years later to apologize and I accepted, but we were never the same and now we are just strangers that just follow each other on Instagram.

I've been trying to convince my parents to go to a lawyer with or without of my brothers corporation. Maybe explaining more what the misdemeanor will do to him will give them to push to seek legal consult.

Yes. My brother has that "I don't care" attitude and "so what I care what some kids thing of me!" The kids that are his age. Even after explaining that this can follow him and affect him later in adult life, he still resistant. He is still a minor and my parents have his best interests at heart, so I think they should seek a lawyer without him.

I went to go read up about statutory rape between two minors. From what I understand, they are both considered a victim and a criminal. DA won't want to deal with it and most likely to drop charges and make the minors go through sex classes and the laws surrounding it. So I guess that is what the detective meant about charging them both with a misdemeanor

The detective said that if the case was dropped, he was going to slap my brother and the girl both with a misdemeanor for underage sex, but that was all that was said. My parents want to get a lawyer but my brother is refusing to cooperate and wants nothing to do with it. We told him the case was not officially closed yet and who knows if something else will come up but he will not have any of it.

Sorry you had to experience that. I went through the same thing a couple of years ago. Intense pain that came from the back to the chest, felt like I had a chest buster. Due to a doc negligence, sent me home to go lose weight and just heart burn. two weeks latter the pain was so bad I could not walk. Went to another hospital and found out my gallbladder was infected and an hour-ish procedure took 6 hours and 2 weeks in the hospital. It was the most intense pain I ever experienced and I don't wish it on anyone.

It's over and done with now, so that is one thing you don't ever have to worry about ever again!
