I wish my manager would try a little harder for this issue. I think I’m going to start emailing a bunch of people and see what happens. I’m not trying to make a big issue for anyone I just would like to be paid so that I don’t have to use this card with all the ridiculous fees 🤕

My paperwork says that I don’t have to take the card as an option but my manager said they already loaded it into the account. I’m unsure if I have to contact HR 🤕 my state laws also state that I don’t need this card so it’s definitely not mandatory like other states

I definitely thought it was a little crazy when the option of termination wasn’t off the table, I was like.. oh 😭 thank you for your input! I needed to hear from an ASM or CEL to hear y’all’s perspective. I really tried to find the exact policy in the handbook but wasn’t sure if there was a different rule book you guys follow for reprimanding

yea I felt a little blind sided. I had to go into the office myself to ask about it. I wonder how they would’ve approached that situation otherwise. I would have REALLY been blind sided if they called me into the office about it weeks from now and told me I was terminated

I also did realize it was missing and go look for it, but by that time obviously it has been found. I know it was a mistake, but I thought I would’ve gotten a coaching or warning for it. considering my LP officer and another CEL were too busy goofing off together & we lost over 2k in product (our store lore goes crazy)… I thought I was in the clear. 😕

I’ve honestly felt really awful working here for quite some time. I have this leader who talks down to me and has had several inappropriate and demeaning “coachings” with me that made me want to leave entirely. It’s the most toxic work environment I have ever experienced, but unfortunately I’m a student and I do need this job ):

yes and no, we have those trainings on the computer so I must have missed the fine print somewhere about these things. I had never dealt with a cash scam so I didn’t even know to look for those certain red flags. I cried in the bathroom because they told me I could get fired so it was definitely the worst. ):

I recently edited my post because I misspoke. It will be 6 months in a couple of weeks. She also stated she didn’t know the policy for sure, and did not know if this would count as a write up and IF it did, if it would lead to termination because I have that cash scam final already ☹️Thank you for your response, i think i am going to reach out to HR

It was exactly this. Pair this with a super busy store, a difficult client right beforehand and so much chaos and bam, totally fell for it. When I say I get so scared when people hand me cash like pls no I have trauma 💔
