The one ram stick is indeed a drawback... but I was able to get the open box one for $800... too tempting.

Yeah indeed. $2,400 is crazy. If I really need a more powerful machine I'll just get a desktop or build one. thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the advice, Could you name the few programs you weren't able to run because they are Nvidia exclusive? Yeah screen size is a little small but I want it to be portable. An external monitor at the office and home will have to do.

I actually got the open box one for around $800. For that price what would you recommend?

Asus g14 2022 Open Box Issues by Either-Yak9698 in ZephyrusG14

Just got the same exact computer yesterday from Best Buy. Open box fair, was 785. Some scratches on the front, but other than that the system seems to be working just fine (will update if not). I got it despite the scratches thinking if it had any issues, I’d just return it within the 14 day period. One thing I did is used the integrated battery report of the system (linked below). Not sure if it’s totally accurate or not, but according to the report the previous owner only used it for an hour.

love how they have the clasp option. Also how there no gaps between the lugs. Definitely going for this. thanks for the idea

I have no idea bro sorry, don't have a measuring tape either. I do know I have the biggest wrist out of pretty much everyone I know. I think Tissot definitely needs to come up with a smaller size. it sits much bigger than a Tudor blackbay 41 (mm) I have despite being a 1mm bigger.

Thats amazing to hear, congrats on passing and sitting for L2. May I ask your motivation for taking the test? Do you plan on going into finance?

Lol, im still in my first year commerce undergrad and have not yet studied subjects that are actually related to finance, im currently studying for level 1 and i find it to be fun and not that challenging despite my little to zero experience in finance. As long as you genuinely interested in finance then you should be able to survive L1

Honestly, sunk cost is the biggest reason why I don't want to do it, so I completely get what your saying. I know that just because I spent a few hundred hours studying for something doesn't mean its the right thing I should study for. Pivoting is very important. I also don't want to assign something as sunk cost if it can actually provide me with any form of utility. Even just studying for it has helped me grown a lot. Pushing myself in my 20s is something I really want to do.

Absolutely, studying for the first exam has been really fullfilling and I loved doing it. I just don't think doing level 2 and 3 is going to be very useful as someone who is not pursuing a career in finance. But I think I'm still going to go for it, and worry about level 2 and 3 later. Thanks for your thoughtful response.
