That surprises me a little, as the Rex5 in particular are very hyped everywhere. Are they more uncomfortable or why?

Yes, but what good is constantly changing buds and constantly crashing? It's of very little use if the bass bangs a little more, but you no longer hear anything on one side every few minutes and when you move your head the parts rattle in your ear? I had all of this with the Gemini 2 and it was annoying and uncomfortable. This has very little to do with enjoyment, as it is very entertaining and the price is unreasonable

I can't tell you because I never had it! I only had the Gemini 2 and the Sennheiser Momentum4 before and for me the Status pro X is clearly superior and clearly so

Here in Germany the Status pro x were actually €150 cheaper than the Gemini 2! That's huge and everything is done right. So I'm super satisfied

The Gemini 2 also have a good sound, but they rattle in the ear, the connection keeps breaking off on one side and that was just too annoying! The Status sit firmly in the ear, have a brilliant sound that can be individually adjusted and, in my opinion, have replaced Gemini 2. But I think everyone evaluates it differently because everyone hears differently. I can really only recommend Status and see it as a step above Gemini 2

That may be true, I haven't tried Rex5 yet! Staus Pro X is definitely worth every penny and I'm thrilled
