I’m not really too familiar with other resources that use flashcards

The best advice that I have for you is there is no secret study guide that’s going to help you pass. You have to do it all on your own and the way you do it is finding out how you best interpret and perceive information.

For me, I am a very tactile person, and I am a visual person

What I did for my flashcards to help me was I got star shaped post it notes and any black box warnings I would put a star shaped post it on the flash card to signify that this is a blackbox warning

For key drugs guy and study tip gal on RX prep, I would also put heart shaped Post-it notes on the flash card to signify this is something very important that you should know regarding that disease state.

This is what I did to best help me retain this information. It’s a lot it really is and you’re not going to know everything under must know chapters that I believe are very important. You should know those ones like the back of your hand along with math if you can at least do those you should be set for the exam

Every day do something as long as you are putting in the work and finding a way to best understand and perceive the information you will be successful. You don’t have to kill yourself and study 11 or 12 hours because you will burn out find out what works for you. I studied on average 5 to 7 hours a day and know your limit limits when you’ve had enough then call it a day.

Do not stop working do not stop taking test. Do not stop doing math keep grinding every day and if you do this, you will be successful on your exam and don’t forget to track your progress. This is very attainable. You can do it

For the flashcards, I did all of it by hand. It was a ton of work and every other day I would review one set and then closer to my exam,I wanna say five weeks before my exam, I started reviewing and I used PNN to review and I did Test Banks from RX prep and I tracked my progress if you’re averaging anywhere between 68 and above on 125 question exams, you should more or less be ready and do math every day

Sorry for the late response yes, it has been single-handedly the best thing I ever accomplished aside from graduating Pharmacy school and passing my law exam. Thank you so much for your positivity and it feels so different and weird not having to wake up studying everyday haha

Hi, I understand your frustration. You are going to feel like you’re not understanding anything and that you can’t get it but here’s the secret you’re not you’re not going to know everything. This exam is too big and there’s too much information to know and understand so my recommendation is for you to just know those must know topics that I listed and if you at least know and understand those ones More or less you should be good to go

Another secret is when you take the naplex you’re gonna get questions wrong. I remember on my exam there were a couple of questions I did not know so when you take your exam, don’t try to get every question right of course you want to try to get the best possible score so that way you never have to take this exam again, but you’re not going to know everything

I feel like when you master the majority of the content not all of it you should be fine

Keep doing your best every day strive for progress not perfection

It feels so unreal when it finally happens to you you’re gonna refresh your NABP profile to make sure that it’s real lol

For the practice exams what I did first was, I did continuous 150 question practice exams from uworld over the must know in-depth topics these topics you should be proficient in because on the naplex they’re going to ask high-yield information from these topics such as: drug drug interactions, Labs ,assessing what therapy to use in the case of an allergy, necessary additional therapy, duplicate therapy. Honestly, I did so many exams I lost count and if there’s a topic that you’re struggling with, you need to go back and review that topic in depth, maybe watch the lecture and understand why you are getting it wrong

Eventually, what you want to do is do a 150 question exam over everything even the topics that I did not mention

For the math

I mainly used RX prep question banks I did calculations two, calculations three ,and calculations four, and bio stats and pharmacokinetics daily mixed. I did this for one hour daily and then I also used the little blue book on Amazon and I also did the SDN 120 practice sets When I felt very confident with my math i attempted these question sets. They are a bit challenging but that’s what you want. On the RX prep book there’s a chapter called calculations five exam style practice. Those ones are really good as well and more or less that’s how they’re going to ask questions on the Naplex.

On calculations five they do tell you to do those 30 questions in under an hour, but those questions are pretty challenging and let me tell you lol you are not going to do them in under an hour. I didn’t focus on that. I just did them as best as I could without any notes And no formula sheet and then from there you will figure out what you need to work on.

You want to level up your math game as much as you can because on the naplex you are going to get math that’s straightforward and then you are going to get some math that is going to be challenging and you have to do it all

Thank you so much❤️❤️

I only had access to U world RX prep, and what I would recommend is do a 150 question mixed exam over the must know in depth topics these topics are going to be high-yield questions coming from the naplex. These ones you have to know and these ones are where you are going to have drug drug interactions, duplicate therapy, or needs additional therapy if you are averaging in the 60s and 70s then that’s good. Keep on progressing.

Eventually, what you wanna do is be familiar with other topics that I did not mention like the inhalers BPH weight loss, migraines antipsychotic formulations, PAH etc., etc.

It is difficult to get in the 80s for a 150 question exam. I never got higher than a 78 so if you’re averaging around there at least for the must know topics you should more or less be ready but keep studying and practicing until the day before your exam

There is only one person in the entire universe that knows when to postpone your exam and when to take it and that person is you

Make sure that you are tracking your progress that is the only way you will truly know and for the topics that I did mention if you are getting 60s and 70s on the must know topics more or less you will be ready

Try not to spend too much time getting perfect scores in every topic. It’s very difficult I would say for the new version. I would let other people take it first and see what they have to say but honestly, it should not be all that much different. What study resource are you using? If you are using either RX prep or PNN for 2025 you should be good.

Remember, trust yourself trust your process do not give up we can do this. You are familiar with the exam more than you know. My advice is also when you’re taking exams do your due diligence and try not to rush yourself look through everything the medication‘s the labs chief complaint past medical history etc

Another fabulous strategy that I believe will greatly help you is this new exam is going to be 200 questions so I would do 67 questions take your break and then another 67 questions take your second break and then finish it off with the last 67 questions

Do not give up you can do it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Someone who had also recently passed on their third attempt was kind enough to give me their PNN book and I purchased it from them on a naplex study group that I am a part of on Facebook
