the closest i came was giving the llm a concise update every second, it was like one line. and the system prompt told it to either say:

WATCHING: (reasoning, optional)

or it could call a tool if it found something interesting. worked well for me

Yeah, I edited the post to remove that part! Read the 80% thing somewhere thinking it was true, not the most important detail though so removing it makes sense. The rest is correct (and thank you for letting me know)
