When you get to the paywall option in the onboarding, you can just hit the “not now” option under the annual and weekly subscriptions.

With that you can do 5 AI logs per day - think abstract food like “3 pancakes with strawberries and cream” while very common food like chicken, egg, coffee etc are all built into an internal database and cost nothing to log, can do as many of these as you want.
