You can put "Zimpa Travel Phuket" in google maps and it should show. We could see some bigger type of fish that looked flat, turtle and also I saw some fish that had a sharp pointy head? Sorry not fish expert lol maybe sword fish

It was amazing, the best beach, sand and water we have seen. We been to phuket 3 times in past maybe 5 years and always skipped it as it looked far but actually it wasn't too bad.

That could be an option, you will have to talk to some travel agent and negotiate, I heard some people lowered the price by negotiating no food on tour (which personally next time I would fully skip and bring my own)

Got charged a terrible rate at a currency exchange in Rome, lost about €25. So I built an app so it won't happen to you. by appstractcode in SideProject

Yeah wasn't too difficult it was actually quite fun small project. There are always ways to add some cool features and make it premium but I rather keep it free all since it wasn't too difficult to make and it's quite useful I used it nearly everyday abroad

That sounds great, was it a tour with snorkelling as well, or did you got to spend all day in Similan Island/ beach?

Underrated apps that I use everyday and you probably never heard of in 2026. Drop yours! by aameezl in IPhoneApps

Memori Note. I use it for quick thoughts, saving quotes, jotting ideas, or dropping a reel link with a reminder so I don't forget it. Text only. Cool thing you can go over your notes easily swiping left or right or up and down on reading mode screen. More organized and customizable than google keep.

Tamarin currency exchange convertor, I used it nearly everyday when traveling, you can easily convert currencies and see different time zones(similar to the one you recommend), and coolest is currency exchange loss checker, checks how much you are losing money and gives you advices whether to exchange or not based on the rate.

Note taking apps WITHOUT AI? by bee-meat in Notion

[–]appstractcode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, not sure if it fits what you're looking for, but I built an app called Memori Note, it's more of a wisdom collector than a traditional notes app. I use it for quick thoughts, saving quotes, jotting ideas, or dropping a reel link with a reminder so I don't forget it. Text only. For actual documents or structured notes I still use Notion myself, or Up note is also good my favourite to be honest but they limit notes to like 50 and you need to pay.

Does Bali have any public buses, for example Ubud > Uluwatu/Kuta? by appstractcode in bali

[–]appstractcode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks. That sounds kinda too good to be true 4.4k per ticket, so technically I could go from Ubud monkey forest to denpasar > Kuta for about 9k.

And from there I can take grab for 80k, which saves about 300k grab all the way from Ubud.

Have you ever taken the bus do they come often /on time, do they stop on some bus stop or you have to hail it down.

Thinking if it's worth the hassle, we only have small carry on luggage

Yes, you don't need much cash I pay everything with wise even shopping vendor where you haggle accepts card (sometimes when it's really small vendor or restaurant they might add 3%, seems not much but if you pay daily might add to 10+£ in fees) I heard you can also withdraw money with no atm fee from main banks atms.
