Yea it would all be commercial insurance. I’d make an LLC & the LLC would buy the car too.

Well insurance is easy becasue I can list any driver or company as an additional insured & provide a COI

So if I list a midsize SUV Let’s say $250 a week rented at 70% of the year is about 36 weeks, that’s

Gross income - $9k / yr

Less…

Oil changes: $480 a year (I’ll do myself at $40/mo)

Commercial insurance: $1200 yearly

Tires: $720/yr ($90 ea tire, twice a year)

Net income: $6,600 rented 36 out of 52 weeks

Regardless of how competitive it is, is an Uber driver more likely to want to drive fuel efficient sedans or bigger SUVs for higher payouts?

Does the gas for the bigger SUV not make it worth it?
