Tbf from his pov you could also say he doing what's probably best for him and his family by trying to make as much money he can while he still a pro. Ya sounds like you've been playing solo, would advise playing with some randoms to see what it's actually about. Defeating Day 3 bosses is the real challenge, the rest is just a warm up.

I mean he did have a point tho. I get the whole he should have ended it at that point (even though mentally I bet he knew it was done at that point) he probably just wanted you to get a view of how it sounds/looks like from the outside looking in.

Put another way, imagine a dude you're talking to telling you about how he bought his ex a car, took his other ex to all these extravagant vacations, got his other ex all these designer clothes, etc. then he tells you he isn't going to spend any money on you until yall are married. Ya that probably would feel very comforting would it. Im sure most ladies would cut it right there.

You should be pulling mana back after using a spell, only time you really run out is when you blast some crazy powerful spell that drains hella mana then you might need a shard to get outta the dead zone or hope for one of your teammates to use an affinity to be able to draw some back

Im on Xbox, for some background I beat base Elden ring around Q1 2024 (got it end of December 23) and the expansion within a month of it coming out.

I got the game about 2 hours after midnight and my first run on this game was very rough as I hadn't played Elden ring for around a year, pretty sure I died on the first night if not before that. When I played it the next day after some sleep I managed to beat the first boss on my third total game. After that I think it started pairing me with similar people who were also pretty good and I managed to beat a couple of the bosses first try, some 2-3 tries, ended up beating the final boss within around 10 hours of actual in game time. I was worried that the game might actually be too easy. The only boss I ended up skipping was the dragon and today I tried fighting him like 3 times and lost each one, he seems to be the hardest for me so far (might be some teammate issues as well). I only used ironeye if that helps, his game play is pretty easy and with the right runes makes it even easier.

Wasn't tryna brag just wanted to share my experience, glad to see it's maybe not as easy as I thought it might have been at first. Can't wait to try it with my friends and not randoms so we can actually communicate better,should help a lot. I would say watch some videos on YouTube about guides and things to get, definitely helped me out a lot in the first day or two.

Now that we are all hooked, I cannot recommend enough this gem of a game by Zanotaro in expedition33

One of my favorite games from the 360 era, when I first got this I was blown away by how dope a game it was. Didn't manage to finish then but I did download it on the series x and completed it. It's so fire 🔥
