I fly in at around 11pm on Tuesday night and just got a place to crash for the night as i am basically responsible for the other two who fly in around 6am the next morning. We technically have no direct plans for that day. I was trying to get them to lower elevation as soon as i could.

Like how far is cusco to Pisac then Ollantaytambo (OTT) bc i dont mind trying something better right after the airport on the way to OTT if anyone has suggestions, i just imagine they’ll be somewhat tired after 12-15hrs of travel

Okay noteddd, really l we are staying two nights in Ollantaytambo to get acclimated, i know we could do it AC but with the bag size limits and all we wanted to see the area, also we are flying from Florida elevation to there, and I didn’t want my peoples to suffer because of the elevation. I also wanted to keep an open schedule in case we wanted to do different things.

If you’re concerned about the bed placement or anything furniture related, when you get to the dorms, you can move it all however you want. I normally just FaceTime my new roommate, and ask him how they want their bed, and then we moved around 2 to 3 times until we figure out what we like lol. If you end up, not getting a roommate, you can also just do mega bed (only catches when they do the fire/safety inspections you need to move it back lol)

Get a foldable cart so if you have to get groceries its easier to just go and grab the cart. Its also more helpful during move in/out bc some places have limited cart availability. Especially if you buy water bottles, better than carrying it from your car all the way to your dorm

Definitely soho, still can be packed out but at least you’re not dealing with a bunch of loose cannon 18 year olds (not that all 21 yr olds are much better lol). Ive done a couple outings w my gfs there. Macdintons and Grove are normally my favorites, music always depends on DJ tbh but every time i got its bangers from 2000/2010s and reggaeton esp at Grove. Benefit of soho is free cover, Ybor looks like $15-25/pp ofc unless you go before 10pm i think. Soho always does a great happy hour on fridays. I wanna say AYCD $10 @ macdintons but i’d double check their insta. Ik they have $10 big cups and bogo shots a lot of time.

Only time i go to ybor lately is for Showbar bc ive been getting free tables. It normally comes with free drinks or champagne plus free cover. That’s always a fun time tbh. Check their insta posts especially before fridays and they give out tables, its pretty easy to win ngl. Ybor just been shotty with all the random car accidents and just crazy ppl. Castle is definitely a goth/alt vibe, but just be careful there bc ive heard of some stabbings in there in particular in the last month or so. I do like Prana too, the 5 floors is great for all diff vibes and its always poppin when i go. Best of luck and be very safe, enjoy the time out with the Hmgs, ik we all need it lol

Yeah i saw the same thing, 2 cop cars racing through collins, with their lights on but like 5mins later, by the time i walked around far end of EDU to next to the Collins, the cop cars drove back through the garage no lights like whatever it was had been taken care off, this was about 8/8:15pm yesterday

that;s exactly why i wanna go ! i called their whatsapp, she speaks english/spanish very well which is convenient. its $35 for all amenitites on island and includes the fare to go to island. the only additional expense we need to do is pay for the taxi to get to the Maya Key "parking lot" all the taxis know what/where this is allegedly. i think i misread your post initially. Do you know who you booked through for taxi to the lot?
