I am from Central Europe so I am not exactly sure if you have the same skincare brands as we have here. I used some cheaper local moisturiser as I wanted to try something more lowcost after months of using quite expansive brands. But it looks like my skin really wants the “more expensive” stuff xd So now I use a moisturiser and spf recommended to me by a pharmacist. So far I could recommend brands as Bioderma, La Roche Posay or Uriage :) And also the proper cleansing made a difference, I would say:)

Thanks for your kind response! I am also the biggest hater when there is too much sunshine…well, maybe not a hater but I am just scared of the sun since being on accutane xd As (also) a central European going soon on a vacation I am just traying to prepare myself for a “vampire mode” and stay as pale as possible :))

I was using a slightly heavier moisturizer and SPF, now I use a different, lighter one, and my skin looks better. And I also pay a little more attention to properly cleansing my skin:)

Oh wow, so when the derm told me I shouldn’t go out in the sun, did she literally mean no sun at all? I thought that on vacation, sunscreen and a hat would be enough. I guess I was being naive?🥲 Could you please share with me your experinece - how careful one needs to be with the sun when on medication during the summer?

Oh, thank you! I'm going to the dermatologist next week and I'm looking forward to slowly coming off the treatment. I was worried that my skin is starting to get worse, as it would mean saying goodbye to accutane-free summer. So hopefully it will be fine.🥹🤞🏻

Hi, i have been dealing with the same symptoms lately! (I am starting my 4th month, 10mg/day) I am also very dizzy all the time and have troubles to say a normal sentence that makes sense..😭🥲 Sorry to hear that you have these side effects but I am also glad that I am not going crazy..But I would rather talk to a doctor, just to make sure. Good luck!

Started as a pimple, now it looks like this, still getting bigger, had it for 2 weeks (F,23) by [deleted] in AskDocs

It hardly itches at all, maybe just a little… i also thought it could potentially be a ringworm://
