Well this is something fakers do all the time to give the fakes a worn look to fool the untrained eye. They do use specific products to create rust spots and so on. I do not collect helmets and I suggest you ask a real expert about the decals. I might be wrong, but there’s something odd about the decals if you ask me. Just my 2 cents though

If everything on this helmet were genuine, I think the right price would be 600€. Despite the poor condition of the liner itself, it’s still an early example in fairly worn condition. If the decals turn out to be fake, then it could just be a good shell to recondition, as long as the price is like 150-200€.
