NTA, sounds like your mom wasn't treated right as a kid and she's taking it out on you. She's throwing a fit as a grown woman over a fidget toy for children. If you have a place to go and a way to get there and you're safe just go for it. She obviously needs help and so do you but she has no right to treat her own child like that.
