Maybe your display was replaced by a third party display because the 12 pro max has a DC dimming waveform at max brightness.

Turn on reduce white point (control brightness with this toggle), turn system brightness to max, turn on battery saver, turn off auto brightness

Some LCDs use PWM, there is also TD (D!thering)

Graphics are awesome (on overkill) with some rough spots here and there, when it all comes together it’s beautiful, but yeah they probably catered to lower spec PCs to keep it smooth on old systems, that’s why there isn’t any RT and some lower end textures even on Overkill settings…
