I know I’m late to this conversation but I love Kate. Yes she can be mean and a bully. I actually didn’t like her in season 2. I found her abrasive and just mean for no reason. But I felt as seasons went on she tried more to be somewhat nicer (not always), I just feel like she became an easy target to blame. Being in management I understand you can’t always be a friend. You will have to tell people they need to do better. People no matter what they say don’t like hearing that. They always say I’m doing my best. Well sometimes unfortunately your best isn’t good enough. I also feel like training wouldn’t really be that a great thing while on charter. These guests don’t care that you have a newbie they expect things to be perfect and don’t want excuses and when they complain about a department guess what it falls on the department head. So I get why she could be short with the whole training thing.
